About Us Rock County Alliance of Snowmobile Clubs

We are an alliance of 8 snowmobile clubs, that have joined together to provide the best possible snowmobile riding opportunities in Rock County, Wisconsin.

The Rock County trail system is composed of trails on private property. We ask all who ride our trails to stay on the marked trail and not cut corners. These trails are on PRIVATE PROPERTY and are used with the landowners permission thru Trail Agreements. Riding off the marked portion of the trail is TRESPASSING and subjects the violator to prosecution and the clubs to trail closure.

The clubs of Rock County maintain miles of club trails. The trail system is divided into multiple zones. A zone may be completely or partially open depending on weather conditions.

The trails in Rock County connect to the trails in Green, Dane, Jefferson, and Walworth Counties.

Did You Know? Wisconsin Snowmobile Trails

Wisconsin has 18,000 miles of state highway and approximately, 22,000 Miles of user funded snowmobile trails and approx. 3,000 miles of club trails that's a total of 25,000 miles of snowmobile trails. These Trails are funded through your registration fees and the trail pass. In other words snowmobilers self fund these trails without any burden to the tax payer.

The Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs (AWSC) is dedicated to the preservation of snowmobiling in Wisconsin and is continually advocating for new trails as well as maintaining and enhancing existing trails. In addition, the AWSC monitors regulations and proposed legislation that could affect snowmobiling. Without the watchful eye of the AWSC, Wisconsin would not have a network of 25,000 miles of snowmobile trail which is ranked in the top three trail systems in the nation.
